Frequently Asked Questions
We’d hate to charge you delivery twice. So please, if you’re aware that you won’t be at the delivery address (or there is a slim chance you may not be) then let us know. All we need is written instructions (via email, or through special instructions when ordering) on where the goods can be left on your property whilst placing the order.
Sorry to hear that. It does happen in rare cases. Let us know of any damages and irregularities within two working days of the delivery.
Take a picture of the tiles and send it over via email with written information as to exactly how many tiles are missing or damaged. Then we’ll send them straight out to you free of charge.
Don’t discard the unwanted tiles as they may be collected at the request of the delivery/collection company.
Remember we recommend buying an extra 10% for wastage. Due to the nature of tiles, it’s acceptable that one or two tiles may get broken in transit. In this instance we would recommend that you try and use these where cutting to the shape of the room is necessary. Of course, we’re still happy to send them out if you still require one or two tiles to complete the job. Just let us know within two days of their arriving.
Here at Trade Tiles, we recommend that you get a specialist tiler rather than a general builder or DIY expert to fit your tiles for you. While tiles are suitable in most any situation, from table tops to living room walls, it does take an expert’s eye to see what surface preparation needs to be done to get you the best result. We’d hate to see them lift on up when they are destined to last a lifetime.
